Voyage Into 3D Printing
I wanted to know more about 3D printing and I wanted to start producing my own parts for at home building, prototyping, and amusement.
Design Choices so Far
Printer Design: RailCore II 300ZLT
Control Board: Duet 3D / Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC
Extrusion: Bondtech BMG
Hot End: Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum
Options I Want to Expand Into
Multi-Tool Support
High Temperature Heated Bed (E3D Mfg)
Ruby High Temp Nozzle
IKO Rails Upgrade
Enclosed Top Cover
Reference Tools
Handy G-code
Notes
G30 does not respect end-stops and ignores probe offsets from G31, all coordinates used for G30 probes must have offsets added back in.
Max Ranges:
- X 290
- Y 290
- Z 1230
Axis Screw Locations for Kinematic Kit Plate
- LF -19,21
- LR -19,276
- R 335,151
